Macros ("the app") is operated by an independent developer. This policy describes what the app collects and how it is used.
You can use Macros without creating an account. Everything you enter is stored on your device and is not sent to us.
An account is optional and exists so your data can be backed up and synced between your devices. If you create one we store:
The app offers an optional paid plan. Payments are processed by the app store you downloaded Macros from — the Apple App Store on iOS, or Google Play on Android. The app never sees, receives or stores your card number, billing address or any other payment details; the app store only tells the app whether a purchase is currently active.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can view, change or cancel a subscription at any time from your device's account settings (Apple ID subscription settings on iOS, or Google Play subscription settings on Android).
You can delete your account at any time from within the app, under Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your account and everything synced to it from our server. This cannot be undone.
Macros does not read from or write to Apple Health. The food and weight entries you type are stored only as described above and are never used for advertising or profiling.
Macros is a food-logging tool. It does not provide medical or nutritional advice.
